Gino Bolognese is a character in the 1999 film Guest House Paradiso. He is portrayed by French actor Vincent Cassel, although in the film he is depicted as Italian. Ill-tempered, violent and extremely arrogant, he is first seen assaulting a news cameraman in a rage after being stood up at the altar by his fiancee Gina Carbonara. He later locates Gina at the Guest House Paradiso and attempts to conduct the wedding himself against Gina's wishes. During the night he eats some of the poisonous fish that had been affecting the rest of the guests, and ends up expelling an enormous green bolus of vomit which rolls down the hallway. He is killed when the rest of the violently ill guests all simultaneously vomit on Gino, forcing him backwards through the window broken by his giant vomit ball into the sea below. As he falls to his watery grave, his last words were "All I wanted was a shaaaaag!"

  1. Like his fiancee Gina, Gino's surname is an obvious reference to the dish of the same name.
